My family, dating back to the mid-1800's came to the United Staes from Arad; My great grandfather (Born April 1, 1868) had two names from what I can tell; His Romanian name was Risxta Todorov; His Bulgarian name was Christoff Todoroff; Coming to the United States, the authorities here transposed his name to be Theodore Rista Sr;, with his son, my grandfather, becoming Theodore Rista Jr;
I have a number of old post cards of Arad dating back to the early 1900's through the 1920's, that belonged to my grandfather; I consider Arad to be my Ancestral home; I enjoyed the 15 page article on the city's history; I hope to visit the city someday;
I am unsure of how to find my distant relatives due to the name change;

Felicitari UTA pentru promovare;;ai adus multa bucurie in sufletele aradenilor din tara si de peste hotare;Toti prietenii mei aradeni din Chicago sunt foarte entuziasmatzi de promovare;;Cu totii speram intr-o comportare onorabila in jungla din Div A si speram ca problema financiara a clubului se va rezolva pana la urma in bine;;Macar in al 12-lea ceas cei care conduc orasul si oamenii cu putere materiala sa se trezesca pt ca acum reprezentam partea de vest a tarii in primul esalon si trebuie sa le dam o lectie miticilor si moldovenilor din prima divizie;;FORTZA UTA!!!
Va citesc de 4 ani zilnic iar azi am fost placut surprins de STRILE TVA;;;EXCELENT;Tineti-o tot asa;;;;
